Lake Retba in Senegal

The bizarre colour is caused by high levels of salt - with some areas containing up to 40% of the condiment.

Michael Danson, an expert in extremophile bacteria from Bath University, said: “The strawberry colour is produced by salt-loving organism Dunaliella salina.

“They produce a red pigment that absorbs and uses the energy of sunlight to create more energy, turning the water pink.

“Lakes like Retba and the Dead Sea, which have high salt concentrations, were once thought to be incompatible with life - hence the names. But they are very much alive.”

Wake up in the afternoon
Never want to work out because its not like I need to be in any prime physical condition with all this loafing around
Always thinking filthy thoughts 24/7 .. just.. FILTH
Eat snacks but never full meals because the food is always there
(But also) Make really extravagant meals
Seems like there’s unlimited time to do everything so nothing gets done
Endless stream of horrible ideas, like, I wanted to domesticate a bird the other day and that isn’t even my kinda shit
Feel useless
Change clothes like 5 times a day
Thus, resulting in weird piles of recently changed clothes everywhere
Really want to go to class but there is no class, where was this feeling when I needed it ?
Taking showers is suddenly less of a necessity
Spend entire day not speaking to any humans
Volatile mood swings that go from excessive happiness to like GRUMPER MCGRUMPERSTEIN
An aversion to anyone who comes at you to talk about jobs or your future, may result in a swinging axe impaling.. um. nothing to read here.
Crazy dancing. ALL OVER THE DAMN HOUSE. Which is the best part. May cause earthquakes. Oops.
